Lausanne Center for Health Economics

The new Lausanne Center for Health Economics, Behavior, and Policy, LCHE, at the University of Lausanne (UNIL) promotes research, teaching, and policy advice in the fields of health economics, behavior, and policy.

The interdisciplinary LCHE is led by Mauricio Avendano, Joachim Marti, Jürgen Maurer, Armando Meier, and Dominic Rohner. LCHE will bring together researchers from different areas such  as economics, public health, epidemiology, actuarial sciences, social and behavioral sciences, law, and medicine who conduct research on health economics, behavior, and policy. The vision of LCHE is to help solve key societal and policy problems in the areas of health and healthcare through research, training, and policy advice.
